Northside Hospital Cherokee and Northside Hospital Forsyth have been recognized for being among the best hospitals in the nation for patient experience.
Healthgrades, the leading online resource for information about physicians and hospitals, announced the recipients of its 2022 Outstanding Patient Experience Award. The two Northside hospitals are among only four Georgia hospitals to make the list. Northside hospitals have consistently been recognized for Outstanding Patient Experience since 2018.
"To be one of only four hospitals in the State of Georgia to win the Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award is a major accomplishment and I could not be more proud of our hospital," said Billy Hayes, CEO of Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Healthgrades evaluated nearly 3,173 hospitals across the United States, with 399 hospitals receiving the Outstanding Patient Experience Award, representing the top 15% of hospitals in the nation for patient experience.
Earlier in 2022, Northside hospitals also received multiple Specialty Excellence Awards from Healthgrades for joint replacement, surgical care, pulmonary care and stroke.
