Northside network welcomes new endocrinologists
Dr. Jennie Law is a board-certified physician in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She specializes in diabetes and diseases of the thyroid. Dr. Law began seeing patients in August at Perimeter North Medical Associates in Alpharetta.
Dr. Yoojin Sohn is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She specializes in diabetes care. Dr. Sohn began seeing patients on Sept. 1 at North Georgia Diabetes and Endocrinology in Johns Creek.

Interventional Pulmonology Program welcomes Drs. Mahmood and Paul
Dr. S. Arif Mahmood is a general pulmonologist and intensivist. His interests include the early diagnosis of lung cancer, bronchoscopy, asthma management and critical care medicine. Dr. Mahmood began seeing patients on Sept. 1 at North Point Pulmonary Associates in Alpharetta.
Dr. Jose Antony P. Paul is an interventional pulmonologist, specializing in lung cancer, airway disorders and pleural effusions. He is particularly interested in advancing non-surgical ways to diagnose and treat cancers that occur in the chest. He began seeing patients on Sept. 1 at Cherokee Lung & Sleep Specialists in Canton, Ellijay and Woodstock.

Laureate Medical Group welcomes Dr. Syed F. Ali
Dr. Syed F. Ali is a general neurologist with subspecialty training in vascular neurology/stroke care. Dr. Ali has worked with nationally renowned vascular neurologists, leading to numerous publications in stroke care. He began seeing patients on Aug. 25 at Laureate Medical Group in Canton.
Northeast Georgia Diagnostic Clinic has a new name, celebrates 70 years
Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic (NHDC) continues the medical group’s dedication to providing compassionate, innovative, high-quality health care to the adult population of Gainesville and the surrounding communities of Northeast Georgia. Founded in 1953, the group recently celebrated its 70th anniversary.
NHDC offers providers in multiple specialties, including internal medicine, endocrinology, hematology/oncology, pulmonary rheumatology and nephrology. The acquisition of Georgia Pulmonary Group on Oct. 1 will further expand NHDC's network to include office locations in Braselton, Duluth, Gainesville, Lawrenceville and Snellville. Northside Hospital Cancer Institute welcomes newest providers
Dr. Adam Pyrzak is board certified in obstetrics/gynecology and gynecologic oncology. He has expertise in state-of-the-art therapies including laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery and HIPEC, as well as in treating women with complex, benign gynecologic disorders — pelvic masses, endometriosis, fibroids and others. He began seeing patients on Sept. 1 at Atlanta Gynecologic Oncology in Alpharetta and Atlanta.
Dr. Abhinav Reddy completed his residency in radiation oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where his research focused on radiation therapy for gastrointestinal malignancies, including pancreatic cancer. Dr. Reddy began seeing patients on Sept. 11 at Northside Radiation Oncology Consultants at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Dr. Star Ye is a board-certified physician in internal medicine. The science of cancer biology and the innovation in cancer treatments first sparked her interest in oncology. She believes that medical care and treatment plans should encompass the whole person rather than focus solely on the illness. Dr. Ye began seeing patients on Sept. 1 at Georgia Cancer Specialists in Canton.

Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute welcomes Drs. Godfrey and Guild
Dr. William Godfrey specializes in orthopedic medicine. He recently completed his total joint arthroplasty fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and is a graduate of Georgia Tech with his medical degree from Emory University. He sees patients in Sandy Springs.
Dr. George N. Guild III specializes in hip and knee replacement. In a decade of clinical practice, he has performed nearly 7,000 total hip and knee replacements and has more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters published and national presentations related to the field. He sees patients in Cumming.

Northside expands primary care network
Dr. Ramya Jayaraman has joined Lanier Family Practice. Dr. Jayaraman is a board-certified physician in internal medicine. Her clinical interests include acute respiratory infections, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, hyperlipidemia, hypertension and preventative care. Dr. Jayaraman began seeing patients on Sept. 1 in Cumming.
Dr. Arati Joshi has joined Northside Gwinnett Primary Care in Lawrenceville. She is a board-certified physician in internal medicine with more than 30 years of experience. She has been treating patients in Gwinnett County since 2005.
Dr. Tik Pau has joined Northside Suwanee Primary Care. She is a general practitioner with nine years of experience spanning women’s health, geriatric medicine, preventative care and mental health. She specializes in treating diabetes, high cholesterol and other chronic diseases. She began seeing patients on Sept. 1.

New surgeons join Northside surgical program
Dr. Christopher Banerjee is a neurosurgeon trained in the newest technologies and techniques for complex spine surgeries. He began seeing patients on Aug. 7 at Advanced Neurosurgery Associates in Braselton and Lawrenceville.
Dr. Jessica Lam specializes in robotic and laparoscopic colorectal surgeries, anorectal procedures and pelvic floor surgeries. She is a graduate of the Colorectal Fellowship Program at Northside Hospital. Dr. Lam began seeing patients on Sept. 1 at Georgia Colon and Rectal Surgical Associates in Sandy Springs and Lawrenceville.
Dr. Peige Zhou is a colorectal surgeon with expertise in robotic and laparoscopic surgery. Her experience spans all conditions related to the colon and rectum, including cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and complex anal fistulas. Dr. Zhou began seeing patients on Sept. 1 at Georgia Colon and Rectal Surgical Associates in Alpharetta, Cumming and Sandy Springs.
