Outpatient Services

Whether you simply want to learn to eat healthy or you have specific dietary requirements, our staff will conduct an individualized nutritional assessment and create a plan just for you.

Services include:

  • Consultations for people interested in learning how to eat more healthfully, understand nutrition labels and how to incorporate all foods into a healthy eating plan
  • Consultations for people with medical conditions such as gastrointestinal disorders, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, metabolic disorders, cancer or renal disease
  • Consultations for women who are pregnant with singles or multiples, breastfeeding or trying to become pregnant.
  • Nutrition education for bariatric surgery - nutritionally preparing the bariatric patient for surgery by reviewing the pre-operative and post-operative dietary instructions on the different stages of the diet along with the diet advancement pace
  • The patient will also receive guidance in selecting the appropriate vitamin, mineral and protein supplements, as well as weight loss surgery behavior modification, appropriate portion sizes and tips for common complaints

Outpatient Oncology

Our CSO (Board-Certified Specialist of Oncology Nutrition) dietitians provide counseling and assistance to maximize nutritional intake before, during and after cancer treatment. Our dietitians cover Northside Hospital Infusion and Radiation Centers, Atlanta Cancer Care, Georgia Cancer Specialists, Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic, Suburban Hematology and Oncology Associates, Atlanta Liver and Pancreas Surgical Specialists and Atlanta Head and Neck Associates throughout the state of Georgia.

Inpatient Services

Adult Population

Our dietitians provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy and care plans for various disease states in the hospital setting. They are available for consultations, patient assessments and follow ups as needed.

Special Care Nursery

Our dietitians provide nutritional care plans and family education for the neonatal population to assist with the growth and development of premature infants.
