Dr. Liza Bachier-Rodriguez, a Northside Hospital Blood and Marrow Transplant, Leukemia and Immunotherapy Program physician, recently presented an overview of CAR T-cell therapy for certain hematological malignancies. The CME lecture described commercially available CAR T-cell products and their disease-specific indications, National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines and management of CAR T-cell-related cytokine release syndrome.
Dr. Bachier's presentation concludes with describing future solid tumor CAR T-cell therapy directions and off the shelf allogeneic CAR T-cell products.
