Cherokee County

Atlanta Gynecologic Oncology relocates Canton office
Dr. Michelle A. Glasgow and the staff of Atlanta Gynecologic Oncology - Canton began seeing patients in their new office on Oct. 19. 

Previously located in the 460 medical office building on the Northside Hospital Cherokee campus in Canton, the office has moved to the adjacent 470 Northside Cherokee Boulevard, Suite 475. The phone number remains the same - 770-721-9400.

Clayton County
Surgical Specialists of Atlanta welcomes Dr. Janine Pettiford, opens new location in Clayton County
Dr. Pettiford is a board certified physician in general surgery. She specializes in surgical breast oncology, treatment of benign and malignant breast disease and high risk breast cancer patients. 

She will begin seeing patients on Nov. 1 at the practice's office in Midtown Atlanta and at their new location in Clayton County at 7823 Spivey Station Blvd, #310, Jonesboro, GA 30236.

Dr. Pettiford chose breast oncology based on the need for prevention and intervention. She is committed to being a compassionate and dedicated breast surgeon during her patient’s breast cancer journey.

Patients will be able to see Dr. Agbor Egbewatt beginning November 1.

Dr. Egbewatt is a board certified physician in internal medicine, and opened his practice in 2000 in Gwinnett County. Since then, he has been treating patients with hypertension, high cholesterol, emphysema, asthma, diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis and many more.

The Blood and Marrow Transplant Group of Georgia welcomes Dr. Lizamarie Bachier
Dr. Bachier is a Northside Hospital Blood and Marrow Transplant, Leukemia and Immunotherapy Program physician. She is board certified in the subspecialties of oncology and hematology. Her clinical and research interests include novel approaches to allogeneic blood and marrow transplantation, leukemia and CAR T-cell therapies.

Dr. Bachier began seeing patients Oct. 15 at The Blood and Marrow Transplant Group of Georgia on the Northside Hospital Atlanta campus.
