Healthgrades, the leading online resource for information about physicians and hospitals, has announced the recipients of their 2022 Healthgrades Specialty Excellence Awards. The awards recognize hospitals with superior performance in specific specialty lines and specialty focus areas.
Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming and Northside Hospital Gwinnett/Duluth are among the Georgia hospitals to make the list.
Northside Hospital Forsyth received the America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Joint Replacement Award and the Surgical Care Excellence Award.
Northside Gwinnett/Duluth received the Pulmonary Care Excellence and Stroke Care Excellence awards.
Healthgrades analyzed patient outcome data on more than 45 million Medicare medical claims records for the most recent three-year time period available for nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide.
