Northside set to sponsor Executive Women's Day

The Executive Women’s Day stage is set to welcome Georgia’s female business leaders at the Mitsubishi Electric Classic.

Keynote address, panel discussion will follow the GIRLSGOTDRIVE™ 9-Hole Scramble presented by PGA TOUR Superstore

Executive Women’s Day presented by Northside Hospital celebrates the power and accomplishments of businesswomen in the metro-Atlanta area. The event launches the Mitsubishi Electric Classic off into tournament week on Monday, May 1, when it returns to TPC Sugarloaf.

“It’s a privilege to have Executive Women’s Day brought to you by Northside Hospital back to our tournament again,” said tournament director Ashley Hamilton. “We’re thrilled to start the week by celebrating the women who champion our community through business. We look forward to another fantastic year of career development, engaging discussion and our second annual GIRLSGOTDRIVE™ 9-Hole Scramble.”

This year’s event theme, “The Power of Believing in You,” will focus on how women can celebrate their accomplishments, use their success to inspire others and improve themselves daily. The celebration will include a keynote address from Founder & Chief Visionary Officer of Titan Global Enterprises Inc, Angela Gennari. Genarri will be joined by the Executive Women’s Day Power Panel presented by Luckie & Co., which features Melissa Wheeler, Chief People Officer for LUCKIE & Co.; Secret Holland, Vice President of Human Resources & Community Affairs for Gas South; and Susanne Hall, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc.

“Luckie is proud to partner with the Mitsubishi Classic on the Power Panel and to be involved in all the Executive Women’s Day activities,” said Mary Winslow, chief marketing officer of Luckie. “The networking and conversations are always dynamic and empowering; it’s a memorable event our team looks forward to each year.”

Gennari founded Titan Global Enterprises in 2015 with only $500 and a vision for how to improve the hospitality industry by becoming the first true “Competition to Completion” event company. As a serial entrepreneur with 20 years of meeting and event management experience, she has been responsible for programs ranging from sporting events to black tie galas. Gennari recently served a 3-year term on the Board of Directors for the Professional Convention Management Association and is the host of “Pretty Powerful Podcast,” which she launched last year as a way to highlight exceptional women who are breaking barriers, shattering glass ceilings and rising to the top of their industry, sport or community.

“Northside Hospital is excited to, once again, be the presenting sponsor of the Executive Women’s Day,” says Debbie Bilbro, president and CEO of Northside Hospital Gwinnett/Duluth. “More than 80% of Northside’s nearly 26,000 employees are women, and we are proud to join the Mitsubishi Electric Classic in celebrating women in our community on this day and every day.”

Prior to the keynote address and panel discussion, select attendees will have the opportunity to take part in the second annual GIRLSGOTDRIVE™ 9-Hole Scramble presented by PGA TOUR Superstore. During the scramble, guests will compete in teams and receive hands-on instruction from a local PGA Professionals.
