Northside Hospital Forsyth was named as one of the nation’s 100 best hospitals for joint replacement in 2024.
Healthgrades identified its Joint Replacement Excellence Award winners recently. The hospitals are said to deliver top results for hip and total knee replacement.
“We humbly accept this award as a testament to our commitment to orthopedic care, where compassion meets innovation, and where every step forward is a triumph over adversity,” orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kenneth Kress said.
Northside Forsyth was one of only two Georgia hospitals to be recognized. No other hospital within 125 miles was so honored.
According to Healthgrades, a hospital recognized with the award must be evaluated and categorized into one of three performance categories for total knee and hip replacement, with both procedures based on in-hospital complications.
