Cherokee County
Northside Hospital Cherokee earned the 2024 Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades, ranking it among the top 5% of hospitals in the nation.
The hospital also earned Healthgrades’ Stroke Care Excellence and Outpatient Joint Replacement Excellence Awards and Five-Star Distinctions in outpatient total knee and hip replacement.
Dr. Matthew Simmons won Best Orthopedist, while Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute and affiliated practices placed second and third for Best Orthopedic Groups in the 2024 Best of Cherokee awards, presented by the Cherokee Tribune.
Dr. Christina Powers and Dr. Catherine Morris won first and second, respectively, for Best Primary Care Doctors. Dr. Kanyan Xiao; Dr. Oluranti Aladesanmi; Janice Reed, NP-C, and Dr. Caroline Bao Nguyen received honorable mentions.
The Northside Hospital Cherokee Auxiliary Gift Shop won second place for Best Gift Store.
Forsyth County
Northside Hospital Forsyth won Best of Forsyth honors and was one of about 30 businesses to be honored as 10-year winners during an event hosted on Jan. 30 by the Forsyth County News.
Northside Forsyth earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for health care quality, receiving recertification as a Primary Stroke Center.
The hospital also was recognized among the top 5% of hospitals in the nation by Healthgrades with America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Outpatient Joint Replacement and Outpatient Joint Replacement Excellence Awards, and received Five-Star Distinctions in outpatient total knee replacement, hip replacement and back and neck replacement.
Fulton County
Northside Hospital Atlanta received recertification from The Joint Commission for pneumonia care.
Gwinnett County
Both Northside Hospital Gwinnett and Northside Hospital Duluth received Healthgrades' Pulmonary Care Excellence Award.
Northside Duluth also received The Joint Commission’s Disease-Specific Care certification for hip and knee replacement.
Hall County
Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic won The Times Best of Hall 2024 in several categories including Endocrinology Group, Imaging, Medical Clinic, Nephrology Group, Oncology/Hematology Group, Primary Care, Pulmonology Group, Rheumatology Group and Weight Loss Clinic/Counseling.
Lisa Price, PA-C, of Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic, was named Advanced Practice Provider of the Year at the seventh annual Healthy Hall Awards, presented by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.
