For the eighth consecutive year, Northside Hospital is the presenting sponsor of BRAG – the Bicycle Ride Across Georgia, one of the country’s most popular cycling organizations.
With the support of Northside, BRAG now features six annual rides — including cycling/river excursions in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France — anchored by its legacy event, known as Big BRAG.
This year, the weeklong ride rolls out on June 1 from Oglethorpe University in Brookhaven. The first three days also include overnight stops in Social Circle and Oxford, ending June 8 in Savannah.
Georgia’s host cities welcome BRAG each day with town square concerts, community cookouts and tours of local historical sites. Riders camp in tents or RVs, stay in hotels and schools — and now can enjoy private quarters in the Snooze Box, a mobile mini-hostel. After their day of pedaling, riders can choose on-site amenities like yoga, massage, and even beer trucks.
