Northside Hospital’s Women’s Services leadership stood out at the recent Georgia Perinatal Quality Collaborative (GaPQC) annual conference. All Northside campuses received prestigious awards for their exceptional efforts in managing severe hypertension and promoting breastfeeding.
Northside proudly participates in the GaPQC, a network of obstetric hospitals across Georgia dedicated to process improvement. Members work together to treat severe hypertension and cardiac conditions in pregnancy and to optimize newborn nutrition through breastfeeding.
Galaxy Award
Northside's Atlanta and Cherokee campuses were celebrated for their profound engagement with the GaPQC and maternal echocardiography (ECHO) initiatives, showcasing their dedication to maternal and newborn health.
Alpha Award
The Cherokee and Forsyth campuses were honored for their unwavering commitment to data transparency and accountability. Their meticulous documentation and reporting of critical process and structure measures have set a high standard in health care settings.
Stellar Impact Award
The Cherokee and Gwinnett campuses were recognized for their exemplary dedication and innovative approaches in effectively implementing evidence-based strategies to address hypertension-related challenges.
