- Northside Cherokee rated high performing in 10 adult procedures and conditions, including back surgery, COPD, heart failure and prostate cancer surgery.
- Northside Forsyth rated high performing in colon cancer surgery, diabetes, hip replacement, pneumonia and eight other procedures and conditions.
- Northside Gwinnett rated high performing in heart attack; kidney failure; leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma; stroke and four others.
The Northside Hospital system was honored by workplace culture and compensation monitoring site Comparably for Best Leadership Teams and Best Career Growth 2024 among top large employers (more than 500 employees) across the U.S.
Northside Atlanta has been awarded a three-year accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (American College of Surgeons). Northside is one of only three facilities in Georgia, one of 99 in the U.S., to receive the accreditation.
Northside Cherokee earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for health care quality, receiving recertification as a Primary Stroke Center.
The Joint Commission’s Maternal Levels of Care (MLC) Verification program, in collaboration with the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, has named Northside Hospital Forsyth as a Level III maternal care verified facility. The hospital is the third Northside facility to receive MLC Verification through the program, which launched in 2022. Northside Atlanta was the first hospital in the country to receive MLC Verification and the first in Georgia to receive a Level IV Maternal Center Designation from DPH. Northside Cherokee received Level III verification in 2023.
The Myelodysplastic Syndromes Foundation recognized the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute Blood Cancer Program as a 2024-25 Center of Excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes. The designation is awarded to institutions that meet the highest standards in diagnostic capability, research excellence, treatment and patient care.
