Blood Cancer Awareness Month

Every 3 minutes, someone in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer. According to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, more than 1.5 million Americans are living with or in remission from leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) or myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).

Dr. Melhem M. Solh tells us which cancers are considered blood cancer and if genetics are a factor.
