Endometrial cancer (also referred to as uterine cancer) is a type of gynecologic cancer that starts in the endometrium, the lining of the uterus (womb).
There are a few symptoms that may point to endometrial cancer, but some are more common as this type of cancer becomes more advanced.
Symptoms of endometrial cancer include:
- Abnormal vaginal bleeding, spotting, or other discharge.
- Lower abdominal pain or pelvic cramping.
- Thin white or clear vaginal discharge after menopause.
- Unintended weight loss.
