Northside Hospital is rapidly expanding. Construction is underway on a major new medical facility in one of the busiest areas of Gwinnett County. Officials from Northside Hospital Gwinnett, Physicians Realty Trust and Realty Trust Group broke ground Wednesday, June 28, on Northside Medical Buford. The 100,000-square-foot facility is at 2800 Buford Drive, Lawrenceville, across from The Exchange at Gwinnett and adjacent to Coolray Field, home of the Gwinnett Stripers.
The new medical office building will bring more outpatient imaging, primary care, cardiology, medical oncology, orthopedics and urgent care facilities to the area.
Northside Medical Buford is just the latest large-scale investment in serving the health care needs of residents of Gwinnett and surrounding communities. Vertical construction of the project began in April and the facility is expected to open in the summer of 2024.
