About Us

Northside Hospital Gwinnett serves as the only state designated, American College of Surgeons (ACS) verified Level II Trauma Center in Gwinnett County. As a verified Level II trauma center, Northside Hospital Gwinnett is a hospital with all necessary resources, equipment, education and training to care for the severely injured. Our trauma program treats more than 2100 patients with traumatic injuries each year.

Our surgical trauma team provides essential services to our patients and the community 24/7 and handles the most severely injured within the “Golden Hour”. This is the first hour after the traumatic injury has occurred and skilled intervention begins, and often means the difference between life and death or life-long disability.
