The Northside Hospital Cancer Institute Bone & Soft Tissue Tumor Program offers comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer care, sub-specialized clinical expertise and a personalized approach to cancer care. Our Program combines the expertise of an academic center with the empathy and personal touch that only a community hospital can provide. We offer patients access to:

  • Dedicated experts in pathologic diagnosis of a variety of soft tissue tumors
  • Comprehensive state-of-the-art plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Advanced forms of radiation therapy which minimize damage to normal surrounding tissues
  • Latest systemic therapies including individually targeted therapy and immunotherapy
  • Access to patient support programs including nurse navigation, support groups, behavioral health services and nutrition services

We offer a full spectrum of services for the management of both benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors. Patients are offered innovative treatments with the goal of maintaining a high level of physical function and quality of life. The Bone & Soft Tissue Tumor Program is part of a larger multidisciplinary team of physicians and experts in surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, orthopedics, radiology and pathology. With a weekly multidisciplinary conference, together your care team will develop the most effective individualized treatment plan for you.
